What’s on Your List?

What is on your list of people, experiences and/or things for which you are thankful?

One of my favorite Thanksgiving activities of all time (besides Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, hot coffee with eggnog and orange cinnamon rolls) was to have blank slips of paper for all our dinner guests to write at least one thing they’re thankful. An invitation, not requirement, just like each day of this 40-day journey. No one signed the papers; they put each slip of paper in a second basket. Between dinner and dessert we passed the basket around; each person drew out and read aloud what was on the paper. It was a beautiful act of communal thanksgiving.

What practices do you do to share thanks with others?

How will you express gratitude for all that you have today?
