This new decade you want to move forward with focus, strength, and a light heart. Old habits that you recognize you want to change are going to fall into the past without a hold on your present or future. You’re filled with hope and resolve. Celebrate this look forward.
These good ideas will stay ideas without a plan that has specific action steps that are measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. S.M.A.R.T. goals. A fabulous acronym to use as you make plans to step toward your goals for 2020.
S.M.A.R.T. goals is one of many tools you can find on the internet; not my original work by any means but a very helpful tool to examine whether your goal is going to remain an idea or will be converted to action.
I have my own acronym G.E.T. Moving. Grow-Equip-Thrive as you desire to move forward to connect the dots of your work, life & faith in order to live wholeheartedly.
Grow your awareness of your desire for change in an area.
Equip yourself with information, tools, resources to establish a plan to make lasting change.
Thrive as you work the plan, letting go of expectations that hold you back and learning to lean in toward the One who knows you best and has holy desires for your good.
You can receive my weekly one page newsletter, G.E.T. Moving by signing up here. Each week there will be an encouraging article, a tool or practice for your growth and a resource for your benefit.
