You did it!
You made intentions to finish 2019 well.

You chose to grow your awareness of areas you might want to change; your awareness of your mindset toward change; and planned action steps to make change happen.
Today is a day to reflect and celebrate!

In coaching we start with this each session: what step have you taken since we last met? We acknowledge the challenge that comes with any new action all before we dive in toward what is next.
To me, that is the best use of this day, December 31, New Year’s Eve. Make time to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and celebrate.
And then turn toward the New Year and consider and plan for the next steps, the next goals, all while acknowledging the truth of Proverbs
People make their plans but God directs their steps. Proverbs 16:9
I was struck by this again this past Sunday while visiting worship at our son’s church. The words to the familiar tune of Auld Lang Syne really spoke to me.

I want to close this year with the Truth penned in the lyrics of this song: You can listen here
All Glory Be to Christ
Should nothing of our efforts stand
No legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house
In vain its builders strive
To you who boast tomorrow’s gain
Tell me what is your life
A mist that vanishes at dawn
All glory be to Christ!
All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!
His will be done
His kingdom come
On earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread
Praise Him the Lord of love
Let living water satisfy
The thirsty without price
We’ll take a cup of kindness yet
All glory be to Christ!
All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!
When on the day the great I Am
The faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain
Is making all things new
Behold our God shall live with us
And be our steadfast light
And we shall ere his people be
All glory be to Christ!
All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!
